Iron Man 2 Comic Con footage was one of the highly anticipated footage, after the Iron Man Comic Con footage was such a big hit two years ago. In a comic books movie world dominated by Spider-Man and Batman, Iron Man was an unknown commodity - with Robert Downey Jr not having quite taken the world by storm again yet. But Comic Con helped change that.

New Justice League Movie

New Justice League movie, Justice League: Mortal, will be released in 2011, will be DC's follow up to the success of the recent Batman and Superman movies, and will be a direct competitor to Marvel's 2011 team superhero movie, The Avengers.

Directed by George Miller, Justice League: Mortal will follow the world's most premiere team of superheroes, The Justice League of America. While there have been many incarnations and members of the Justice League of America over the years, the primary members, and ones most likely to be seen in Justice League: Mortal are Superman, Batman, The Flash, Green Lantern, Wonder Woman, Aquaman and the Martian Manhunter. Justice League movie, Justice League: Mortal, should prove to be as large a success as the recent crop of outstanding superhero movies from Marvel and DC.

New G.I. Joe Movie - The Rise of Cobra

A huge budget Hollywood action movie based on the character of a toy line and comics book G.I Joe has been made by director Stephen Sommers. The movie titled G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra features Channing Tatum in the role of Duke. Duke is one of the fictional characters in G.I. Joe and is the code name of First Sergeant Conrad S. Hauser. About the G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra movie, Channing Tatum says that it is a blend of X-Men, Transformers and Mission Impossible, "It's a huge $170 million movie. It's just a big kid sort of driven film." G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra will hit theaters on August 7, 2009.
